Leather Bible Cover

Handstitched genuine leather Bible or book cover.
A name or monogram can be engraved on the cover (at an additional cost).
Sizes as specified are standard. Should you require a custom size, please select option 4 and specify the size of your Bible or book in the text box provided.
Standard sizes (please refer to diagrams under photos):
- Small: 150mm wide x 220mm length x 40mm thick (Total size of flat, open cover: 340mm wide x 220mm length)
- Medium: 170mm wide x 250mm length x 50mm thick (Total size of flat, open cover: 390mm wide x 250mm length)
- Large: 200mm wide x 270mm length x 60mm thick (Total size of flat, open cover: 460mm wide x 270mm length)
When measuring your book or Bible to determine the required size, please take the following into account:
- Deduct 5mm all around for stitching
- Add approximately 10mm to the width of the cover to accommodate for the folding when the book or Bible is closed.

A word on engraving on leather:
Please remember that embossing and engraving on leather are not the same processes. Engraving will burn off a thin layer of leather. The burning is what provides the dark colour to make the wording visible. Because leather is a natural product, burning results in a lingering smell that might be off putting to some. The engraving of very small letters is not encouraged since it is more prone to long term damage.
